SteamID64, SteamID (STEAM_0:X:Y), SteamID3, account ID, and the permanent profile URL from one input.

Custom URLs resolved

Paste steamcommunity.com/id/name or just the name; it is resolved to the Steam64 behind it.

One click opens the full AIMTRACER profile: hours, bans, FACEIT, and Leetify for that account.

Guide

How to find your SteamID on desktop

  1. In the Steam client, click your account name in the top-right corner and open Account details. Your Steam ID (the SteamID64) is shown under the account name.
  2. Or open your profile, right-click an empty part of the page, and choose Copy Page URL. If you have not set a custom URL, the link already ends in your SteamID64.
  3. If you have a custom URL, paste the link above: it is resolved to the SteamID64 and converted to every other format.

How to find your SteamID on mobile

  1. In the Steam mobile app, open your profile and use the share option to copy the profile link.
  2. Or sign in to store.steampowered.com/account in a mobile browser; the account page lists your Steam ID.
  3. Your friend code (Friends, Add a Friend) also works: it is your account ID, and the converter turns it into a SteamID64.
  4. Paste whichever you have into the box above.

SteamID formats explained

Every format encodes the same 32-bit account ID. SteamID64 is that ID plus 76561197960265728, which is why every personal Steam64 starts with 7656119. It is what steamcommunity.com/profiles/ links, the Steam Web API, and most stat sites use.

SteamID (STEAM_X:Y:Z) is the legacy form from Source games and server admin tools: Y is the account ID's lowest bit and Z is the account ID divided by two, so the account ID is Z × 2 + Y. SteamID3 ([U:1:N]) writes the account ID directly, with U for an individual account and 1 for the public universe.

Custom URL vs SteamID64

A custom URL (steamcommunity.com/id/name) is a nickname for the profile link. The owner can change or drop it at any time, and someone else can claim it afterwards, so it is not a reliable way to point at an account.

The SteamID64 never changes. When you report a cheater, add a player to a server ban list, or save a profile to check later, use the SteamID64 or the /profiles/ link instead of the custom URL.

FAQ

SteamID finder questions

What is my SteamID64?

Your SteamID64 is the 17-digit number starting with 7656119 that permanently identifies your Steam account. It never changes, even if you change your name or custom URL. Open Account details in Steam to see it, or paste your profile link above to convert it.

Can I find a SteamID from a username?

Only from a custom URL name (the part after steamcommunity.com/id/). Steam display names are not unique and cannot be searched reliably, so a profile name alone is not enough. Open the player's profile and copy its link instead.

How do I find the username for a SteamID?

Paste the SteamID above and open the profile URL or the full AIMTRACER profile, which shows the account's current name. When you search a custom URL name, the current name is shown with the result.

Can I see someone's previous Steam names?

AIMTRACER does not keep a name history, so it only shows the current name. On a public Steam profile, the small arrow next to the profile name lists the recent aliases Steam itself keeps; players can clear that list.

Is STEAM_0 or STEAM_1 correct?

Both point to the same account. The first digit is the universe, and older Source games print 0 while CS:GO, CS2, and newer tools print 1. The other two numbers are identical, so swap the first digit if a tool expects the other form.

Is my Steam friend code the same as my account ID?

Yes. The friend code Steam shows under Friends, Add a Friend is your 32-bit account ID, the same number inside SteamID3. Paste it above to get the other formats.
