CS2 aim rating
Aim rating is Leetify's 0–100 score for how a player's aim stats compare with the average player. 50 is average and 40–60 is the middle of the pack. Paste a Steam link or Steam64 ID to check anyone's aim rating when their Leetify profile is public.

Leetify benchmarks the score so that 50 is the average for its entire player base.

Benchmarks
| Aim rating | What it means | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Below 40 | Below the benchmark | Approximate. Most aim stats sit under the all-player average; common at lower ranks and on small samples. |
| 40–60 | Middle of the pack | Leetify's own description of this range. 50 is exactly average for the whole player base. |
| 60–70 | Clearly above average | Approximate. Aim stats consistently beat the benchmark across a meaningful number of matches. |
| 70+ | Well above the benchmark | Approximate. The further above the benchmark, the closer the score moves towards 100. |

Guide
Aim rating is a score from Leetify, a third-party CS2 stats service, not an official Valve or Counter-Strike rating. Leetify compares a player's aim stats (such as time to damage, head accuracy, spray accuracy, counter-strafing, and crosshair placement) with the average of all its players.
Each stat that beats the benchmark pushes the score towards 100, and each stat below it pushes the score towards zero. A player who is exactly average in every stat lands on 50.
Anything above 50 is better than the average Leetify player, and Leetify describes 40–60 as the middle of the pack. Scores that stay above 60 over many matches are clearly above average.
Leetify recalibrated its benchmarks for CS2 in March 2024 because the old CS:GO data had let the average drift upward; scores from before and after that change are not directly comparable.
Because the score is built from individual aim stats, improve the stats rather than the number: counter-strafe before shooting, keep your crosshair at head height where enemies appear, and practise first-shot accuracy and spray control.
Open the aim tab on Leetify to see which stats are below benchmark; those are the ones pulling the rating down.
FAQ
50. Leetify benchmarks aim rating so that 50 is the average for its entire player base, and it describes the 40–60 range as the middle of the pack.
Anything above 50 is better than average. Scores that stay above 60 across many matches are clearly above average, and the further a player's aim stats beat the benchmark, the closer the rating moves towards 100.
No. Aim rating is Leetify's metric. AIMTRACER reads the public value from Leetify and shows it rounded next to Steam, FACEIT, and recent match context.
Leetify only has data for players who have signed up and let it import their matches, and players can make their profile private. In both cases AIMTRACER labels the Leetify stats as unavailable.
Leetify lists aim rating as rank independent, so it is always measured against all players. Players at lower ranks can still expect a somewhat lower aim rating on average.
There is no fixed number, but a score from a handful of matches swings a lot. Read aim rating together with the match count; one built on dozens of recent games is far more reliable.
