Benchmarks
| Stat | Average | Pros and notes |
|---|---|---|
| K/D ratio | 1.00 = break-even | Kills divided by deaths. Pros: median lifetime FACEIT K/D 1.27, middle half 1.18–1.38. |
| ADR | 100 = a kill's worth per round | Average damage per round. Pros: median FACEIT ADR 85, middle half 80–90. |
| HLTV rating | About 1.00 = average | HLTV's rating for professional matches. Over a full year, the very best players sit in the 1.30s. |
| Leetify Rating | 0 = average impact | Leetify's estimate of how much a player's actions change the chance of winning rounds. Positive is above average. |
| Leetify aim rating | 50 = average | Leetify's 0–100 aim score; 40–60 is the middle of the pack. Pros: median 89. |
| Win rate | 50% = expected | Matchmaking aims for even games, so a win rate well above 50% over many matches usually means you are still climbing. |
Guide
Anything above 1.00 means you get more kills than you die, which is above break-even. A common rule of thumb is that 1.10 to 1.20 over many matches is solid for your rank. For reference, the median lifetime FACEIT K/D among 2,190 pro and streamer profiles is 1.27.
K/D ignores how a kill helped the round. An entry fragger often dies first and still wins rounds; a player who saves every lost round protects their K/D without helping the team.
ADR is average damage per round. Every player has 100 HP, so an ADR of 100 means you deal one kill's worth of damage every round. Valve publishes no average; a common rule of thumb is that 80 or more is strong in most lobbies. The median pro averages 85 on FACEIT, and the middle half of pros sits between 80 and 90.
ADR rewards damage you deal even when the enemy survives, which is why support players can have a modest K/D and a good ADR.
HLTV builds its rating so that about 1.00 is an average performance in the professional matches it tracks. Only the very best players hold a rating in the 1.30s over a full year.
HLTV moved to Rating 3.0 in August 2025 and adjusted it again in October 2025, adding round swing and an economy adjustment. Ratings from different versions are not directly comparable, and the HLTV rating only exists for pro matches HLTV covers, not for your matchmaking games.
Leetify Rating estimates how much your actions changed your team's chance of winning rounds. 0 is average, so any positive number is above average and the bigger it is, the more impact.
Leetify aim rating is a separate 0–100 score where 50 is the average player and 40–60 is the middle of the pack. The median pro in our data scores 89.
CS2 aim rating explainedThe pro numbers on this page come from public FACEIT and Leetify data for 2,236 professional players and streamers, looked up on 2026-10-23. They are lifetime FACEIT figures, which include years of matches, so a hot streak on your own profile can sit above them for a while.
CS2 pro players by the numbersFACEIT level, ELO, and match stats come from FACEIT's official Data API and its public profile endpoint, matched to the Steam account by its Steam64 ID, so only a FACEIT account linked to that Steam account is shown. Results are cached for up to 5 minutes. If FACEIT does not answer, the level on the player's Leetify profile is used and labelled as coming from Leetify.
Leetify ratings, the Premier rating, and recent matches come from Leetify's public profile API and only appear when the player's Leetify profile is public. AIMTRACER shows Leetify's numbers as reported and does not calculate its own ratings. They are cached for about 2 minutes.
Every lookup reads these sources live and keeps the answer only in a short cache. When a source is private or does not answer, the page says so instead of guessing, and no stat is presented as proof of cheating.

About 1.00. HLTV builds its rating so that 1.00 is an average performance in the professional matches it tracks.
Yes. Leetify Rating centres on 0 as average, so any positive value means your actions helped your team win rounds more than an average player's would.
None on its own. ADR and Leetify Rating track impact better than K/D, but every stat depends on role, rank, and sample size. Read them together over many matches.
