Premier gives a single CS Rating, shown in seven colour bands from grey to gold.

|---|---|---|
| Grey | 0 – 4,999 | The lowest band. |
| Light blue | 5,000 – 9,999 | Below the middle of the active player base. |
| Blue | 10,000 – 14,999 | Where the middle of the active player base sits, by community samples. |
| Purple | 15,000 – 19,999 | Clearly above average; community samples put it around the top fifth. |
| Pink | 20,000 – 24,999 | A small minority of Premier players, by community samples. |
| Red | 25,000 – 29,999 | A very high rating, near the top of the regional leaderboards. |
| Gold | 30,000+ | The top band, with no upper limit. Top of the regional and global leaderboards. |
Guide
Premier is CS2's main ranked mode. Teams pick and ban maps from the Active Duty pool, and every match changes one number, the CS Rating. That rating also places you on regional and global leaderboards.
Competitive lets you queue for a map of your choice and keeps a separate rank for each map, using the 18 skill groups from Silver I to Global Elite. A Global Elite on Mirage can be a Gold Nova on Nuke.
Ranked modes need Prime Status. A Premier CS Rating appears after you win 10 Premier matches, and each new Premier season asks you to win 10 matches again before the rating shows.
In Competitive, each map's rank appears separately once you have won enough matches on that map. After a long break, your rating or rank is hidden until you play again.
Wingman is the 2v2 mode on small maps. It uses the same 18 rank names as Competitive, but its rank is earned and tracked separately, so a strong 5v5 player can still start low in Wingman.
FACEIT is a separate platform with its own ELO and skill levels 1 to 10. There is no official conversion between FACEIT levels and Premier ratings, only community-observed equivalents.
FACEIT level to Premier rating tableLeetify ratings, the Premier rating, and recent matches come from Leetify's public profile API and only appear when the player's Leetify profile is public. AIMTRACER shows Leetify's numbers as reported and does not calculate its own ratings. They are cached for about 2 minutes.
FACEIT level, ELO, and match stats come from FACEIT's official Data API and its public profile endpoint, matched to the Steam account by its Steam64 ID, so only a FACEIT account linked to that Steam account is shown. Results are cached for up to 5 minutes. If FACEIT does not answer, the level on the player's Leetify profile is used and labelled as coming from Leetify.
Every lookup reads these sources live and keeps the answer only in a short cache. When a source is private or does not answer, the page says so instead of guessing, and no stat is presented as proof of cheating.
How AIMTRACER worksFAQ
CS2 has two ranked systems. Premier gives one CS Rating number in seven colour bands from grey to gold. Competitive and Wingman use 18 ranks from Silver I to Global Elite, with Competitive ranks kept per map.
In Premier, the gold band starts at 30,000 CS Rating and has no upper limit. In Competitive and Wingman, the highest rank is Global Elite.
Valve publishes no rank distribution. Community samples place the middle of active Premier players around 10,000 to 11,000, so anything in purple (15,000+) is clearly above average.
10 wins. Your CS Rating appears after your 10th Premier win, and a new Premier season asks for 10 wins again.
Competitive tracks each map separately, so your rank reflects how you perform on that map only. Premier is different: it has one rating across all maps.
Yes, for Premier. Paste their Steam link or Steam64 ID into AIMTRACER to see their current Premier rating, read from their public Leetify profile, next to their FACEIT level.
