csstats.gg is built on Valve Competitive and Premier games. Most alternatives add FACEIT or deeper per-match analysis.
Trackers that follow your own matches need your game authentication code. Lookup tools only read public profiles.
csstats.gg only knows matches it has processed. Lookup tools show FACEIT, Leetify, and Steam context even for players it has never seen.
Every tool below can be used for free; paid tiers add extra analysis or remove ads.
Comparison
| Tool | Best for | What it does and where it stops |
|---|---|---|
| Leetify | Improving your own game | Automatic match reports with HLTV rating, ADR, and skill ratings such as aim and utility, plus accomplishments to compare with friends. Free account, with FACEIT matches once you connect FACEIT. |
| Scope.gg | Per-match analysis and demos | Post-match analysis with HLTV Rating 2.1, KAST, aim and grenade stats, progress over the last 30 matches, automatic clips, and a 2D demo viewer. Sign in with Steam or FACEIT; free core with premium options. |
| Tracker.gg (CS2 Tracker) | Leaderboards and an in-game overlay | Web profiles, match history, map stats, and leaderboards, plus a Windows overlay app built on Overwolf that shows FACEIT levels and ranks in your current match. Premium removes ads. |
| CSDB.gg | Free stats pages and lobby lookups | Player pages with Premier rating, FACEIT ELO history, map win rates, and recent matches, and a FACEIT finder that checks up to 10 players from pasted status output. |
| AIMTRACER | Checking a player you just met | No login and no auth code: paste a Steam link or ID to see FACEIT level and ELO, Leetify ratings, Premier rating, account age, CS2 hours, bans, and inventory value. It does not keep a match-by-match matchmaking history. |
| CS2 itself (Watch → Your Matches) | Your last few matches, no site needed | The in-game scoreboard cycles through ADR, K/D, headshot percentage, and utility damage, and Your Matches keeps recent demos and match sharing codes until they expire. |
Guide
csstats.gg is the one to keep if you want a long match-by-match history of your Valve Competitive and Premier games, round-by-round breakdowns, or a list of players you met who were later banned. That depends on its own processed matches, which no lookup tool has.
It also has a quick trick: add an x before steamcommunity.com in any Steam profile URL and it redirects to that player's csstats profile.
Where CS2 match history livesThere is no public Valve API for matchmaking stats. Each tracker collects matches through authentication codes or sharing codes and parses the demos with its own rules, so ratings, and even K/D, can differ for the same player.
A tracker only counts matches it has processed. A player who never connected an account may have only the games their teammates' accounts brought in.
Every row is based on each tool's own public pages, checked on October 23, 2026: what you can paste in, what it shows, and whether it needs a login or an uploaded match code. Paid tiers are mentioned only when the tool advertises one. No tool paid to be listed, and no row is an affiliate link.
AIMTRACER is one of the tools on this list, so read its row with that in mind. Its limits are listed as plainly as everyone else's. Features change often; if a row is out of date, email [email protected] and it will be corrected.
FACEIT level, ELO, and match stats come from FACEIT's official Data API and its public profile endpoint, matched to the Steam account by its Steam64 ID, so only a FACEIT account linked to that Steam account is shown. Results are cached for up to 5 minutes. If FACEIT does not answer, the level on the player's Leetify profile is used and labelled as coming from Leetify.
Leetify ratings, the Premier rating, and recent matches come from Leetify's public profile API and only appear when the player's Leetify profile is public. AIMTRACER shows Leetify's numbers as reported and does not calculate its own ratings. They are cached for about 2 minutes.
VAC, game, and trade ban state comes from the Steam Web API's player bans endpoint, the same record behind the red ban notice on Steam profiles. Steam reports it even when the rest of the profile is private, and it is fetched fresh on each lookup.
Every lookup reads these sources live and keeps the answer only in a short cache. When a source is private or does not answer, the page says so instead of guessing, and no stat is presented as proof of cheating.
How AIMTRACER worksFAQ
For improving your own game, Leetify or Scope.gg. For an in-match overlay, Tracker.gg. For a quick check on another player without logging in, AIMTRACER or CSDB.gg.
csstats.gg is built on Valve Competitive and Premier matchmaking. For FACEIT, use the player's FACEIT profile or a tool that reads it, such as AIMTRACER, CSDB.gg, Leetify, or Scope.gg.
Only for trackers that follow your own matchmaking games, such as csstats.gg and Leetify. Looking up someone else's public profile on AIMTRACER needs no code and no login.
It only shows matches it has processed. If neither the player nor anyone they played with shared those matches, there is nothing to show. FACEIT, Leetify, and Steam data may still be available on a lookup tool.
The game authentication code lets a site read your matchmaking history; it does not give access to your Steam account or items. You can revoke it from Steam's support page for CS2 at any time.
No. Stats and ban history are context. Only Valve's VAC and game bans are verdicts, and even those say nothing about a player's other accounts.
