AIMTRACER only works with public profile data and never asks for Steam credentials.

CS2 inventory estimate

A counted estimate of the public CS2 inventory from available market-price sources. Items under $5 and grey or blue grade skins are left out.

Account age and level

Member-since date, account age, Steam level, and limited-account state from the public Steam profile.

Library size and hours

Games owned, combined hours, and CS2 hours when game details are public. AIMTRACER counts the library; it does not price it.

Bans and trade state

VAC, game, and trade ban status, which matter to anyone judging what an account is worth to its owner.

Guide

How to check what a Steam account is worth

  1. Copy the Steam profile link, Steam64 ID, or custom URL of the account.
  2. Paste it into the search box above and run the lookup.
  3. Read the CS2 inventory value on the profile. It can load a moment after the rest, because Steam inventory and market data are slower.
  4. Open account age to see the member-since date, Steam level, games owned, and combined hours next to it.

What AIMTRACER values, and what it does not

The only money figure AIMTRACER computes is the estimated value of the public CS2 inventory. Everything else on the profile is context: how old the account is, its Steam level, how many games it owns, how many hours it has, and whether it has bans.

AIMTRACER does not price the game library, other games' inventories, wallet balance, trading cards, or purchase history. A full "Steam account worth" figure would need all of those, so AIMTRACER does not claim one.

How the CS2 inventory estimate works

Why account age, level, and hours matter

Two accounts with the same inventory can mean very different things. A ten-year-old account at Steam level 40 with hundreds of games and thousands of hours is someone's long-term main. A months-old limited account with one game and a few hours is not, whatever its inventory holds.

Ban status matters too. A VAC or game ban stays on the profile, and a trade ban limits what can be done with the items.

Check Steam account age

Why the value is an estimate

Skin prices change constantly and differ between marketplaces. AIMTRACER prices public CS2 items from available market sources and leaves out items under $5 and grey or blue grade skins, so the figure gives the order of magnitude, not a sale price.

If the inventory or game details are private, AIMTRACER shows them as private. To check your own account, set Inventory and Game details to Public in Steam's privacy settings, run the lookup, and switch them back if you prefer.

Account value and selling accounts

People often ask what their account is worth because they are thinking of selling it. The Steam Subscriber Agreement does not allow selling or transferring Steam accounts, and accounts bought from third parties can be recovered by the original owner. AIMTRACER does not buy, sell, or broker accounts or items.

FAQ

Steam account value checker questions

How much is my Steam account worth?

AIMTRACER answers the CS2 part of that question: paste your Steam profile link and it estimates the value of your public CS2 inventory, next to account age, Steam level, games owned, hours, and bans. It does not put a price on your game library, so it is not a full account valuation.

Does AIMTRACER calculate the value of my Steam games?

No. AIMTRACER shows how many games an account owns and its combined hours when game details are public, but it does not look up store prices for those games or add them to a total. Any value AIMTRACER shows comes from CS2 inventory items only.

What is the difference between this and the CS2 inventory value checker?

Both use the same CS2 inventory estimate. The inventory value checker is about the items: counted skins, exclusions, and private inventory states. This page is about the account as a whole: the inventory estimate read together with account age, Steam level, library size, hours, and bans.

Is the value exact?

No. The CS2 inventory figure is an estimate from public inventory data and available market-price sources. Prices move, marketplaces differ, and real sale prices can be higher or lower.

Can I sell my Steam account for this amount?

The figure is not a sale price, and the Steam Subscriber Agreement does not allow selling or transferring Steam accounts. Items can be traded or sold on the Steam Community Market under Steam's own rules; the account itself is not meant to change hands.

Why does my account show no value?

Usually the CS2 inventory is private or friends-only, or every item is under $5 or grey or blue grade. Steam's Inventory privacy setting is separate from the profile setting. AIMTRACER shows a private state instead of guessing.
